Trainees are expected to be fully competent to work unsupervised in the OOH setting by completion of training.

The OOH provider in Bristol is Brisdoc. Register with them by  contacting enquiries@brisdoc.co.uk. Each shift must be logged in the eportfolio with an attached form signed by your supervisor. The form can be completed through Brisdoc's Clinical Guardian software or on paper.

New guidelines have been brought out this year and OOH has been rebadged as UUSC (urgent and unscheduled care).  Details are available on the deanery website:  http://www.primarycare.severndeanery.nhs.uk/training/trainees/urgent-and-unscheduled-care-uusc/
